HDC at Viennese ball practise..

14 members from HELP DANCE CLUB has particitipated at the all time biggest and most grand event of the year - The Viennese Ball KL 2008 at the KL convention centre. It was tough having to go for practises 3 times a week taking up all our weekend time ( but it was all worth it ! :) ). Travelling down to Hang Tuah Every friday after classes and some times practises till late at night before going home. Despite the fact that all of us have our Mid Terms, but everyone still went with full of Spirit practising the Vienense Waltz with all their hearts out! :) it was great having to be there as a HDC family :) . Everyone enjoyed every single moments there though there were some problems between their partnership.

DanceFreak's Nite

HDC had organized their annual dance party on the 11 July 2008 ( friday ) at the 1st Floor HELP Residence. we were very fortunate this year to have a new multipurpose hall with wonderful dancefloor to use as our annual dance classes and as well as dance functions.

The party this year was organized in a different way as we were suppose to have a mix genre of Latin dancing music + Clubbing/Hip Hop. But thanks to the "wonderful" DJ we had.. that gave us a very "good" time, the party was fun. The party drawed many more crowds than expected with more than 100 walk-ins which make about 250 people attending.



We started of an ice breaking game with the macarena dance with no hand and body ( man behind the ladies ) then there were performance by a group of dancers from Taylors called the SNIS, and then an interesting solo performance by our Malaysia's So you think you can dance top 40, Mr. Joshua Yip, mesmerizing the crowd with he's interesting and attracting moves.
There were couple dancing competitions that nite with 2 interesting couples tie with the grand prize. Another Amazing performance by Leon Lor and Jo-Ann Bautista who is known as the Malaysia's under 16 Junior Latin Champions which mesmerize the crowd.....

HDC at March/May Intake Orientation Nite

We are glad that HMC had invited HDC to perform during it's March/May intake orientation nite on the 9th May 2008 * Friday..it was the 1st HELP DANCE CLUB PERFORMING TEAM in 2008.. the dancers who performed on that day were ( Females ) Cynthia, Sophia, Ru Jin and Melissa ( Males ) Wei jin, Alexander, Ka Heng and Edwyn..

The dancers started off with a little technical problem bu then manage to mesmerize the crowd witht heir sexy dance moves and amazing stunts. The best part is that many of the gents ( especially ) has never take up dancing before!! We were so proud of the dancers as it was kinda hard to gather dancers for practices due to everyone's busy schedule. But the dancers manage to pull it off 2 weeks before the performance.........

HELP DANCE CLUB is BACK!!

After a loooooooonnnnnnggggg break out of blogging.. were finally back!!

Well, it has been a busy/active year for HELP dance club this year ( 2008 ) as there are many events happening. For example: - HELP dance party 'DanceFreak Nite' - Viennese Ball Workshop As usual the Dance club has always have its "MOOD" with students coming in during seasons.. but dance club has always remain at an average number of 10 to 20 students at class..

Help dance club will continue to stay active to organize more events and as well as participate in competitions and performances…
